Silent Directed Retreat 2026

This contemplative retreat offers participants the opportunity to meet daily one-on-one with a spiritual guide and share Eucharistic Liturgy and Evening Prayer with the retreat group. Solitude, nature, and silence enhance these sacred days. Participants are invited to journal, read, walk the beautiful Siena grounds and labyrinth, create with art supplies, and be refreshed and renewed.
During registration you will be asked to register for one of the available spiritual guides who will accompany you throughout the retreat. If your first choice for spiritual guide is no longer available when you go to register, please pick a different spiritual guide. In the next portion of registration there will be a space to put your first choice in if you would like to be added to the waiting list for that guide. We will do our very best to honor these preferences.

Kathie Tilot
Kathie Tilot is a retreat leader and spiritual guide. She holds a master’s degree in theology from St. Norbert College and is a graduate of Siena Retreat Center’s Spiritual Guidance Training and Supervision programs. Lorrita Verhey, SSND
Lorrita Verhey, SSND, has been a teacher and Family Nurse Practitioner with immigrants and persons with mental illness. She also ministered in Ghana, Africa. Lorrita completed the Spiritual Guidance Training Program at Siena and an internship at Claret Center in Chicago.
