This is a virtual program offered via Zoom. A basic familiarity with Zoom is expected of participants.
Freewill Offering: There is no charge to attend this program! Free-will offerings to the Siena Retreat Center are greatly appreciated to help cover overall expenses. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, your offering for the program is tax-deductible.
The Peace Education Program is a ten-week, one hour per week on Zoom, with videos, reflection and participant discussion on a different topic weekly. This gives you the opportunity to focus and reflect on your humanity and your inner resources such as choice, hope, and dignity. Rather than describing or defining personal peace, the program empowers you to reach your own understanding. The program has proven effective in a variety of settings including community centers, schools, healthcare settings, senior centers, homeless shelters, and correctional facilities.
