In the midst of our chaotic, fast-paced world, a mysterious voice beckons: be still in the winter darkness. Live in the flow of great unknowing. Open yourself to the Nourishing One.
During our time together, we will acknowledge the uncertainty of our lives, listen to the invitation to let go of the illusion of control, and practice opening ourselves to a Mysterious Spirit. We will be present to both the beauty and the heartbreak of our lives and our world.
This weekend retreat will include contemplative practices, facilitator reflections, and small and large group sharing.
About the Facilitator
Bridget Purdome
Bridget Purdome (She/Her) is a Spiritual Director, Supervisor, Retreat Leader, and Educator who is sensitive to the movement of the Spirit in the very ordinary experiences of daily life. For over ten years, Bridget provided spiritual care to those experiencing homelessness, HIV/AIDS, substance addictions and other mental illness.
