Lenten Taizé Prayer

Taizé prayer is a form of worship originating in an ecumenical community of Christian monks in Taizé, France. For many years, tens of thousands of pilgrims, especially young people, have joined the monks for their Taizé prayer services.
Join us in the Sisters’ Chapel for a service of prayer, silent reflection, scripture, meditative music, and simple chants as prepare our hearts during Lent to honor the significance of the death and resurrection of Christ.

Vicky Curtiss
Vicky Curtiss is the Program Director for Siena Retreat Center, which involves leading retreats, arranging for programs, and offering spiritual guidance. She has an M. Div. from McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago and served the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) for forty years as an ordained clergy in the roles of pastor, spiritual director, and presbytery executive. Steve Janco is a liturgical musician and composer, who serves as the Director of Liturgy and Music for the Sisters of St. Dominic, Racine. He earned a Doctor of Ministry degree from Catholic Theological Union in Chicago.
