Inspiring Your Creativity
With Vicky Curtiss and Martha Ross-Mockaitis
June 11 - 13, 2027
The word “inspire” is derived from the word inspirare, meaning “to breathe or blow into.” This retreat will help us discover how being inspired is to be the recipient of Divine breath. This Divine breath gives us our life and is part of our creative inspirations as we “breathe” life into our own works.
Spend time to be recharged, creative, and inspired. Bring the projects you are working on or want to begin, whether sewing, quilting, painting, writing, knitting, or other project. You will have at least eleven hours for focused work in the company of other creative people in a well-lighted retreat space. The whole group will gather a few times to explore what opens and what hinders our own creative process. We will explore themes of abundance, acceptance, change, and trust in your own creativity. Tables and extension cords will be provided. Please bring your own supplies for your creative project and a journal.
